New Seminar Series: The Author in the Popular Imagination

Opening Event - Friday 14th November
I am delighted to announce the first event in a new seminar series, ‘The Author in the Popular Imagination’, which will take place at Wolfson College, Oxford (Haldane Room) on Friday 14th November at 5.30pm. The series aims to bring together researchers from across the range of European languages and literatures, and the focus this year is on the nineteenth century.

  • Dr Sandra Mayer (Vienna/Oxford): ‘Following the Primrose Path: Intersections of Literary and Political Fame in Commemorations of Benjamin Disraeli’
