RECSO Play Reading: Frances Burney’s ‘The Witlings’, TOMORROW, Friday 13 February, 1:15 - 4:00 pm, Common Room, Radcliffe Humanities Building.

This is a reminder that our second RECSOCIAL of Hilary Term will take place tomorrow, Friday 13 February, from 1:15 pm - 4:00 pm, in the Third Floor Common Room of the Radcliffe Humanities Building (on Woodstock Road).

All are very welcome to join us for a reading of Frances Burney’s dramatic comedy ‘The Witlings’ (see here for online play-text: http://www.pseudopodium.org/repress/witlings/1.html).

Anna Senkiw, DPhil student in English at Mansfield College, will begin the session with a brief outline of Burney’s career and the play’s performance history (or lack thereof). After this lovely and I hope illuminating introduction, we will proceed with some Burney-based fun.

FREE tea and coffee, juice, sandwiches, crisps, and biscuits will be provided.

I look forward to seeing you there!
