Prof. Hanneke Grootenboer – How to Portray a Touch, a Kiss: Eye, Mouth and Breast Miniatures

The very first session of RECSO’s new seminar series, ‘Teaching the Eighteenth Century’ will kick off this week with the award-winning author of the recently published monograph, Treasuring the Gaze: Intimate Vision in Eighteenth-Century British Eye Miniatures, Professor Hanneke Grootenboer.

The seminar take place within the Radcliffe Humanities Building on Woodstock Road; a free buffet lunch will be provided from 12:15pm. Talks will begin at 12:30pm and will be followed by a general discussion. We look forward to seeing you there.
