The next session of the Besterman Enlightenment Workshop will take place on Monday, 2 March (Seventh Week), at 5 pm, at the Voltaire Foundation (99 Banbury Road).

Alexander Iosad (Oxford) will give a paper entitled ‘The Linguistic Challenges of Cultural Transfer: Translating the “New Sciences” in Eighteenth-Century Russia’.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be served.  All welcome!
