The next Besterman Enlightenment Workshop of the term will be held on Monday, 30 January 2022 (Third Week), at 5 p.m., at the Voltaire Foundation (99 Banbury Road). Peter Jones (University of Birmingham) will be speaking on the topic of ‘Agricultural Enlightenment: the Knowledge-Based Approach to Growth in the Rural Economy, c. 1750-1840’.
