REMINDER: RECSO LAUNCH DINNER POLL CLOSING SOON

REMINDER: RECSO LAUNCH DINNER POLL CLOSING SOON

*** An Invitation to RECSO’s Launch Party and Dinner ***

RECSO followers are warmly invited to attend an evening event at All Souls College on Thursday, 4 December, 5.30-7.30 pm, in the Old Library.* This will be a great opportunity to talk to the speakers, as well as socialise with RECSO’s breadth of members, and celebrate the recent launch of the RECSO Network. In addition, we’ll be showcasing the past, current, and forthcoming work of Oxford’s best and brightest researchers in the c.18th and Romantic period. Drinks and canapés will be served.

We have reserved a private dining area at Quod (opposite All Souls), from 7.45-9.30 pm, for members and speakers who would like to continue conversations over dinner. Please note that this is not a RECSO-funded dinner and diners will be asked to select from a set menu (£30 for three courses). Please note also that guests are very welcome to make alternative arrangements and reconvene with the rest of the RECSO group at 9.30 pm at the King’s Arms, 40 Holywell Street, Oxford, where we will meet to conclude the evening’s celebrations.

If you would like to join us for drinks and canapés at All Souls and/or the dinner at Quod, please RSVP to jennifer.wood@univ.ox.ac.uk. As the dinner is optional, spaces are limited, and so we kindly ask that attendees sign up via the Doodle poll (http://doodle.com/98zs859esy68qvyb).

We hope you will be able to attend.

Thank you,

Jennifer
(Social Secretary, RECSO)

NB. The Old Library venue is only accessible via a steep flight of stairs.
