We will be holding our first Network meeting of Michaelmas Term over our usual free lunch on Thursday, 6 November, from 12.30-2 pm, at Ertegun House (37A St Giles’, Oxford). Nicholas Cronk will be speaking about ‘Making an Anthology of Voltaire’s Letters: The Problems and the Pleasures’. We hope that a broad discussion of the possibilities and pitfalls of anthologising letters will ensue, so please come ready to share your reflections on reading and making such collections.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to [email protected] by this Friday, 31 October.
